Eric Clarke is the former CEO and founder of Orion Advisor Services, the nation’s largest privately owned portfolio accounting firm. He serves as a current board member of the firm. While Orion is best known for its portfolio accounting capabilities, Orion recently launched its Eclipse trading and Astro optimization platforms and is making inroads as a leader in tax-efficient trading. As an industry-recognized expert in portfolio accounting, Eric’s articles have been published in Investment News, The Journal of Financial Planning, RIABiz, and several other industry publications.
Eric earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Brigham Young University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Utah. As an avid runner, Eric uses the solitude of his runs to think through business strategies and plan new scenarios to help advisors increase efficiencies and improve their client experience. Orion currently administrates over $800 Billion in assets for more than 1,800 advisory firms.
