Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Summary/Objective:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will oversee the financial management of the entire organization. In this role, he or she will be responsible for managing financial operations, preparing reports, analyzing data and developing strategic financial plans in alignment with the firm’s business goals. This position will also identify and mitigate potential financial risks, ensure compliance with regulations and stay up-to-date on industry trends. As a critical member of our senior management team, the CFO will provide valuable financial insights and guidance to help drive the organization's success.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives
- Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Manage financial risks and ensure the organization's financial stability
- Develop and maintain relationships with banks, investors, and other financial stakeholders
- Prepare and present financial reports to the board of directors and senior management team
- Collaborate with the CEO and other senior leaders to make critical business decisions
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and laws
- Stay current with industry trends and developments to improve financial processes and systems continuously
- Manage and motivate the finance team to achieve their goals and deliver high-quality work
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Workdays and hours are Monday through Friday, 8 hours a day, 40 hours per week.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Master's degree in business administration (MBA) preferred
- At least ten years of experience in financial management with a proven track record of success
